So trure! Good job! Some people think stories are gasp boring… I know… They think think tv is actually gasp better. I love to read stories and when I hear someone say reading stories are boring I yell at them and tell NO IT IS NOT !!!

Lovely ode to the written word. Good job setting up the difference between visual media (vegging out) and the written word early, as the same idea of escape from current reality can be applied to that as well. But with the set-up, it’s clear you’re arguing for the superiority of the written word as it engages the consumer on a deeper level. Ooh, that was a long comment.

I believe reading is the sixth sense beacuase it makes you experience all 5 of the senses in a different way than they were intended - through memory. And that memory is powerful enough to make you salivate over the mere description of biting into a sour lemon. That is the power of the written word - persuasion. It really is incredible. Kudos KG.
