Ramblings Equal Rides

I got my chance. HE, the amazing Stephen, walked by my table and paused. “Hey, your name is Jessica, right?”

Okay, speak. “Um yeah. Hi. Want to sit?”

Stephen smiled his killer one, the one that I wished I could capture on camera and sat backwards, so cool, on a blue chair. He flicked back his head, letting all that blonde hair leave me to stare into his perfect hazel eyes. “Oh okay, I remember you. I saw this beautiful photograph in a book store the other day and I wanted it so badly. I asked the woman who did it and she said some high school student. And then I see you in the newspaper and now here.” Who knew hotties could ramble like idiots too.

Still, I blushed. “Um thanks. Well, um I need to go pick up my sister, so I’ll see you at school.” I stood up quickly, almost knocking over the table.

“Wait.” Stepen followed me outside and I stopped on the sidewalk. “Wouldn’t you like some company? Well, a ride?”

“Um sure. Thanks.”

And then, a limo pulled up. Oh Jeez.
