The Dove of Steel (11)

Isaac let off another sigh,

“Look, I’m sorry for yelling at you, I just don’t like to talk about it.”

He said the words with a kind of tone one would use for a child who was crying, not the only other known one of his race.

The girl looked up and said,

“Ok, but I think you might have some trouble convincing them-”

Before she could finish her sentence, the wall behind Isaac began to shift and move, and Isaac watched as the room was suddenly brightened by a burst of light.

When Isaac regained his sight, he saw a figure, average in height, in garb similar to the Elf who had harmed him.

Isaac knew unarmed he was no match for anyone with a weapon, his skill in fighting was only focused on his weapon, his philosophy being, If your unarmed you already dead.

The black garbed man moved closer and said in a cold voice, strikingly similar to his tone,
“Now if both of you would come with me, we have business to attend to.”

Isaac gave off a laugh and said,

“Yeah, sure, you and what army?”
