She grabbed him in her arms and held him, “Now Pete this is the last thing I need right now is for you to be crying about this. I need someone that I can talk to and just hold my hand for now while I figure out what I want to do.â€?
“What do you mean figure out what you want to do? Your, we’re going to fight this!?â€? He stopped and looked at her and for the first time he couldn’t read her.
“I’m not sure what I am going to do yet. I still need to tell my mother and a few other people but you right now are the only one that knows about this. Next week I need to call my doctor back with what I want to do.â€?
“Why next week, why not tomorrow, or right now?
“Because I need to know what I want.â€?
