One Week

ONE WEEK LATER
After telling Mallory that I wasn’t over Josh, she took the news surprisingly well and was shockingly supportive. I hadn’t talked to Mitch at all since that Friday and after thinking that he liked me, I was starting to have serious doubts.
Now, Mallory and I were at another one of her brother’s baseball games – except we weren’t watching; we were working the snackbar. At least it was cool in there wheareas outside, people were experiencing the gruesome “towards the end of May boiling hot weather.”
One of the first games had just recently ended and the baseball players were making a beeline for Mallory and I at the snackbar most likely for Gatorade and sunflower seeds.
I stood up and went to serve the first customer. He was wearing a jersey that looked really familiar. I knew I had seen the logo on it before, but I just couldn’t place where. After giving the guy his refreshment and seeds, the next guy came up.
It was none other than…
Oh, that’s where I’ve seen that jersey before!
