Hanging By The Moment

I see you. Just sitting there, looking as perfect as could be. Doing nothing, just sitting. Letting the wind blow through your hair. I’m just sitting. Sitting here doing nothing. Starring at you. Wondering if your thinking I’m perfect. It made everything better, as I sat there alone. Wondering about you. Wondering how much fun everyone else was having, but me. I watched as all my friends giggled and laughed together, not caring how I felt. Then, I looked over at you. Wondering if you wished I was okay. Everything seemed to be in slow motion. As the minutes ticked by, still feeling the same. You still sitting there, doing the same. Wondering how the day would turn out I sat there. Doing nothing, tears in my eyes. Stomach churning not just from the sickening amusement park rides, but from worrying. Worrying if you would say anything as you walked by. My whole entire body shaking, not just because I had Jello legs from the roller coasters, but shaking as you walked by and left me to hang by the moment.
