Her [Pen's Hauntingly Beautiful Challenge!]

I met her in 6th grade. She was so beautiful, I couldn’t bring myself to speak to her. I guess that’s why I loved her so much; I didn’t know what she was like. She never seemed to have friends, and she sat at a completely empty table at lunch. She always would chose to work alone. I could never understand why no one else loved her. She was the most wonderful thing I had ever seen. Six years passed and I finally gathered up the courage. The senior prom. What a wonderful night. Of course, she said yes. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t know why. She doesn’t really have any friends anyway. We had an amazing time. We learned so much about each other. We drank punch. We kissed. We almost got carried away. You know, the typical prom night things. I took her home in my Ford and dropped her off at her porch. I knocked on the door. Her mother opened the door. “Hello?” she said. “I brought your daughter home.” I said and motioned to Her. “My daughter? Shes…. been… dead for… five years…” I swallowed real hard.
