Pens' Shelf (Bookshelf Challenge)

I actually have two bookshelves.

The first does not contain books, but it’s where I keep supplies I use for altered books, cards, collages, and painting. On top, I have a montage of mis-matched picture frames, vases, CDs, and other assorted junk.

On the other bookshelf are the books, arranged in no particular order and subject to change whenever I re-arrange my room. This shelf holds my cherished childhood books – Shel Silverstein, The Wrinkle in Time series, Pendragon, and also other favorites that fit in between those.

But my favorite books are arranged in stacks on my floor for easy access, because I love to let people borrow them. The Complete Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (read so much it is almost falling apart), The Andromeda Strain and countless other Crichton novels, Stephen King, Faulkner’s The Sound and the Fury and various others, e. e. cummings’ poetry, Love is a Mixtape, _My Sister’s Keeper_and a good many others.

Then there’s the to-read pile. It’s rather large. :]
