More Than You Think

I didn’t know what to do. Jay NEVER stumbled over an answer, and because of what I was about to tell him, I wanted him to be completely sure he wanted to know.

“Jay, I’m not quite sure that I like Ron…” This was probably the worst way to tell him this.

“What?!? Then who do you like?” Jay was so cute when he was confused.

“I, uh, I’m not sure if I should tell you.” Truthfully she wasn’t sure she could say his name to him outloud.

“Winter, how many times do I have to tell you that I’m your best friend. You can tell me anything!” He had a point.

“I know, I know, its just that… it’s not anyone you would have ever guessed.” Now she was starting to stumble over her words.

“Please it can’t be that bad, can it?” He had no idea.

“Wait a second. I’m not telling you who I like, unless you tell me who you like.” That was very middle school of her.

“Me? I.. I… Winter.. You, you don’t want to know who I’m basically in love with.”

“Believe me, I want to know more then you think.”
