In your first line, the “its” doesn’t require an apostrophe.

1. It’s = it is. Only use the apostrophe for “it’s” when it is the contraction of “it is.”
ex.: It’s raining cats and dogs.
2. Its = possessive pronoun.
ex.: Its cover was damaged by the rain.
