Twilah took her very first step into Sugarview High. She saw no familiar faces out of the hundreds that surrounded her. She checked in at the office,where they gave her her schedule and locker combination.Twilah strutted down the hall busily like everyone else.After walkind down,what seemed like endless halls,she finally came to her locker. She played with the combination a couple times, making sure it’d work. She looked around and saw all the students glaring at her as they walked by.Twilah always hated the first day of a new school.The bell rang and Twilah scurried to her 1st period class, Science. Mr Turner, her science teacher,unfortunately introduced Twilah to the class.Twilah hated it so much. All the students had an excuse to stare at her. “Class,this is Twilah Shaw. She’s a new scientist to her class,so treat her kindly.” Twilah fel her face burning from anger and embaressment as she listened to the giggling and quiet chattering as she sat down. Twilah sat and played with her dark,long brown hair.
