“Bael,” Locke smiled, “I am..”
“Captain Trianna Locke, yes I know,” the grenna creature said.
To say that Locke was shocked would have been an understatement, “I’d say you’re a fast learner,”
Bael nodded, “We are capable of telepathy and can learn languages quickly, but to the point,”
Did the black eyes narrow?
“We have been kept here wrongly accused of conspiracies that did not occur.” he said frankly.
“I do not mean to argue, but the Karama and my ship,” Locke pointed to the bulkhead, “are both caught in what we understand is a Phase Wake.”
Bael nodded, “Yes, there has been a dimentional tear, but it not of our doing.” the creature assured.
“We are not pointing fingers, Mr. Bael,” Jim Morris said.
The grenna’s forehead wrinkled, “You may not be, but the captain of this vessel.. IS. And I submit to you, that it is the Karama that is at fault for what has happened here, not The Grenna. The Phase Drive is successful,”
“It’s not without its hiccups, I think,” from Locke.
“There is truth to that,”
