Elementary, Dear Madison pt.3 (Deduction Challenge)

“Has your-exuse me if this seems rude, but it’s rather important-sex life been good?”

She blushed scarlet. “I always thought so, but… now I have my doubts.”

“So when did you first suspect that your husband is having an affair?”

“Well, first he just started staying late at the office. It’s a huge cliché, I know. But then he started coming home later and later, and he smelled like perfume. It wasn’t even good perfume. It was the cheap, super-sweet, way-too-floral-for-any-woman-in-her-right-mind-would-buy kind. And about 3 days ago I found a lipstick mark on the inside of his collar. It was a bright fuschia, and again, the color was totally over the top. But then, the last draw was yesterday, when I was looking in his office, in paper bag under his desk was a leopard print thong. It was discusting. So, I don’t know what to do.”

At that, she collapsed in a nearby chair, her head in her hands.

I felt my heart go out to the poor girl. It was a good thing I knew why her husband was having an affair.
