Amethyst Frontiers: Awakening

Brill was first to the landing bay door, and observed the door of the oddly ink-blotch shaped vessel.
“Wow,”
“Only you can get excited over a piece of shit like this!” Frosty said to her.
“Only you wouldn’t appreciate art when you saw it,”
“I’m all about the guns, Doc!”
The hatch on the shuttle opened. A small creature, not 3 feet tall stepped out. Its eyes were large black almond on a featureless face. It’s legs were stubs and it’s hands were the size of a human baby’s.
“I am Bael,” said the grenna.
“I am honored” said Brill, “I am Major Laura Brill.”
“You command this vessel?” Bael asked.
“No, I am a passenger. Merely an observer.”
“I see” the grey creature nodded, “Frosbeld, I presume?”
Frosty hadn’t a clue how to act. He awkwardly bowed, “That’s me” he sweated, “Our captain?”
“Coming out of stasis. she will be along!”
“Of course,” laughed Brill.
“Major?” Frosty was confused.
“In stasis they avoided the phase-field,”
Bael smiled.
Tarn came with the captain in tow.
“Ah, home!” Locke said.
