A Dancer's Pain (Golden Silence Challenge)

I looked over at her, her green eyes glistened with tears, and they fell down her cheeks like silent rain. She threw her head back with a silent scream, her mouth open wide, as I touched her tights right where the blood was soaking through from. I slipped off her rock hard pointe shoes and pulled up the once pink, now red tights, making sure that they didn’t hurt her wound, exposing her pale leg. Her auburn hair that had been pulled back into a tight bun was now floating about her face, and the agony that I saw in her eyes cut into my heart. I couldn’t stand her being in pain.
Her usual confidence was gone, replaced by confusion and hurt that showed plainly in her gestures. She was holding her legs in close to her chest, rocking back and forth with wild eyes, the blood coming steadily now. I wasn’t sure what to do until the paramedics got here, so I just loosened her grip on her legs and took her sweaty hand. My love for her overpowered me. I wasn’t going to let anything happen to my sweet little dancer.
