Go With the Flow

What am I doing in here?
My mind calls out with my frustrations
But what did I expect?
I had no expectations

My room is tiny, cramped, though clean
I could just leave, go right away
But no, I don’t think the idea’s so keen
For sure something would go astray

I look around me at my new house
I don’t know what to think
I’m trying to believe that Bybanks is gone
And Ohio is under my feet
I don’t know what he was thinking
To take me oh so far
I wish I could go back to Kentucky
Look, I have a new scar
It’s right here on my heart

My mind is empty, feeling pain
I think that I should go
I feel my heart fill up with disdain
I can’t stand it
I guess I’ll just go with the flow
