Residing Dreams (Chapter 303)

“I’m sorry to hear that. But now there is no longer a cage, and you fly freely. You can soar above towns and cities, for you are able to spread your wings. God bless you, little dove,â€? I murmured, somewhat surprised at myself.
Somehow, the words just came.
The dove observed me for a little bit longer before it flew away. I bid it farewell as it faded, and I believed that it wouldn’t be gone forever. The predestined peacefulness pervaded the meadows as well as my heart.

Then, I heard a piercing ringing sound. It seemed to be coming from nowhere, but then I looked at the pocket watch in my hand. Sure enough, it read 12:00.
Noon had come.
Promptly following this, the dream soon began to fade into the mist. I was left in a swirl of confusion, mystification, and newborn patience.
All too soon, the dream had ended.
