Capgras' for Lunch

Erin stared across the table, glared more like. Seth just tried to smile despite his discomfort.
“Baby,” Seth said soothingly, “After all we’ve meant to each other…”
“Don’t say ‘we’ to me, you, you…” Erin interupted, though she couldn’t bring herself to finish the sentence.
Dumbfounded, Seth tried a different tack, “Hey, it’s no big deal, I just wanted to talk about Larry and Lori.”
“You leave them out of this! I don’t know what you’re game is or what you did with Seth, but…”
“But I am Seth,” he cut in, honestly confused.
“Oh, you look like Seth, and you sound like him, but I know the truth!” She slammed her hand down on the table for emphasis and looked around warily.
“But baby…”
“Don’t call me baby! You stay away from me, you hear! I’ll find the real Seth and put a stop to your nefarious plans.” And with that she shot up and stormed out of the cafe, leaving Seth befuddled and staring into his chai tea.
“Dang it,” he muttered, “Now who am I going to borrow $50 from?”
