Mildly amusing but…is it just me, or is every sci-fi writer here inspired by Douglas Adams?

Douglas Adams style humor yes, not neccessarily Douglas Adams though. Styles of humor like plots are limited in number and its very easy to write comedy and make it look like someone else without even trying. (Hell, i do it often enough)
