It's a Date

Saturday
“Hey, Rach. Hey Mrs. James,” Lili and Ana greeted.
Rachel and Mrs James were out on their front lawn unloading the moving truck.
“Hey, Mr. Lewis; Evan,” they smiled in unison.
Boxes littered the front lawn. Evan and his father carried the bigger boxes into the house.
Rachel stomped over. “Are you guys serious?”
“What?” Ana asked innocently.
Rachel looked them up and down. “Short shorts?”
“It’s hot!” Lili cried.
Rachel rolled her eyes. “Help me move this box.”
Lili began to help her move a large box marked kitchen appliances.
Evan came back out for another box.
“Hey Evan,” Ana sauntered over to him. “Need help?”
“Yeah, could you just grab that box.” He pointed to a small one. “It goes in my room.”
“Don’t you move fast? Buy me a drink first,” Ana teased.
Evan smiled. “A girl with a sense of humor. I like that.”
Ana grinned widely.
“How about lunch? When this is all done?”
“Sounds like a date.”
