The confession

Captured, the assassin quickly surrenders. He is taken to the interrogation room at the FBI agency. In the room he is confronted by an agent who had followed his entire career, from military to present. As the agent read a list of people that the assassin had killed, the assasin said yes to each name.
Why? he was asked. The assassin decided it was at the time he needed to explain. He demanded that a reporter be presented so that he may tell his story.
With the reporter presented, the assassin begins to tell his story: As a young boy, he never had an education, when he became 18 he signed up for the military and while there he learned how to become a killer. It was the only skill he had ever learned. His first education never taught him any skills to survive with, but in the military he figured he could take his sharpshooting skills and train himself into an assassin. He succeeded as an assassin, and he survived. All the money he earned, was donated to schools across the country.
